In Smith & Wesson We Trust

Here's an article about one of nobama's unintended consequences.

Amazing, isn't it, how slow some people are on the uptake? I've been chasing a particular gun around town, looking for it at the LGSs and big box stores. I've heard, "I just sold my last one" at least twice in three days. I hope the government is taking very close notice at the boom in sales and figures there are some people you just can't fool anymore.

    Gun Sane,

I have to ask. Which gun are you chasing around town?

Yep, they are the most impossible gun in the world to find right now. I have two people waiting on orders of them here. I even called Henry yesterday and they say they are shipping them out, just cannot keep up with the demand.

    Good luck on finding one.

I was most interested in the Frontier model with octagon barrel and open front sight. I could order one at Dick's Sporting Goods for $325. Davidson's is out of stock at $425.

Dee Dee likes hers, nice plinking gun. I don't like a scope on these but she needs one to shoot. The Pentax lightseeker scope is worth twice the cost of the gun.

RC, can you change the title of this thread to "In Henry We Trust" until Rollin hijacks it back?

Not I said "Cock Robin"... You telling me S&W doesn't make the Henry, I though they bought Ruger too. Lets start a rumor, someone will believe us. Now if I said BC owns Glock the popcorn would pop! then a

I don't think anyone here would survive that nuclear carpet bombing. MT would have to start a new moon colony.
