    American Classic 1911 Mags

I have ordered an American Classic 1911 from Bud's. Think it only comes with 1 mag. What would be a good brand of mag to buy. I believe most are interchangable among the various
    1911's.

Thanks in advance for any input.

Actually the mags you can get at Condors (your gun parts) work quite will in my FS and AC commander. Plus members here with over 10 posts qualify for a discount there.

I went to the site and didn't see 1911 mags, am I missing something or do you have to call them?

There is a C-Products 1911 mag floating around here for members to give a test drive, wait for a Pass around KARMA to pop up and toss your name in the kitty.
Chip Mc Cormick seems to be a real popular choice here.

I prefer corn chips, namely Fritos, accept no cheap substitute! The Chip McCormicks are same list price as those on YourGunParts, so with the discount, those from YourGunParts will be about 2 bucks cheaper. However, they do not show an 8-round without the plastic bumper & the Chip McCormicks are SS. To me, that would give the Chip McCormicks the edge, but I like the idea of supporting a fellow Bersa Chat member. Decisions, decisions!!

Thanks all for the input. I am ordering some ammo from SGC and will order a Mec-Gar mag from them and also order a couple of Novak mags from Condor Flight. Not much .45 ammo around. None at any of the Wallyworlds near here (SW Florida)

    Re: American Classic 1911 Mags

Keep looking at you local Wally World for the .45
See when deliveries come in. Once I got the UMC 250 pack and lately I'm catching the WWB 100 round packs.
Remember, the early bird gets the ammo.
    Good Luck!
