Thank you for your service Jason and all those who have and are now serving. I served 4 years as a policeman (then Air Police, now Security Forces) at Minot AFB, ND with the 862nd Combat Defense Squadron, Strategic Air Command. I was from Florida and froze my tail off.

Okay, I've picked on the Air Force and Army, so what about the dedication that sailors have to show for their country, especially when they cross the equator for the first time to earn their Shellback card from King Neptune? Here's what happened on my old ship, the Ranger, when thousands of officer and enlisted "pollywogs" got initiated during the Crossing The Line ceremony.

I always wondered why everyone always made all those Navy jokes.....

7.5 years here, Army aviation and transitioned to medical field. Been out just over 2 years now. Moved on to another group of brothers, and traded the green for the blue (but not AF blue)
