The new Llama Metro 380 1911 comparison to the EMP

What is the size of the new, to come, Bersa 1911 380 in comparison to the Springfield EMP? I was just thinking that if it was close in size they could possibly take it up in caliber as another option. This of course would require heavier recoil spring assemblies and who know what else, but if it were possible it might be a very nice sized CC pistol.

I'll probably put this on my list.

Wonder if they will be making a llama 9mm in a compact???

I remember when the Llama .380 was around. It was an attractive looking pistol.

Re: The new Bersa 380 1911 comparison to the EMP

I was all excited about the Browning 1911-380 when I first heard about it.
    The Bersa 1911-380 too.
We saw a Llama 380 at one of the gun shows.
    Very interesting pistol.

    But -
for the money a PAIR of Bersa 380 PLUS (with 15 rounds each) cost about the
    same as a single 1911 380...

I love the 1911 platform. (and I adore the Range Officer!)

But for a 380, NOTHING beats a Bersa.

There is no Bersa 1911 in 380 coming out guys. It is a Llama Micro Max 380 manufactured by Metroarms. It is a really cool gun and the price should be similar to that of the Bersa Thunder 380. So, much less that the Browning, Sig, or Colt single action 380s out there now.

I'll sign on for 2 right now. When may we expect to see them? I have a very rare vacant spot in one of my safes at the moment!

Yes, Eagle Imports will be bringing the Llama line to the USA and has actually been the driving force behind making it happen. We will keep you posted.
