    30 carbine paratrooper replicas

Does anyone know if any of the new replicas of the folding stock PAratroop carbine has the M2 magazine release for using the 30 round mags? I have always wanted one of these things, call me weird but I really love the carbine over the ARs, or AKs, just love the little beast. Yeah, I know its not a big deal to replace one but was just curious if any come stock with it because some companies you void the warranty by replacing parts with aftermarket

My friend had WWII M1 carbine. It was fun to shoot.

The M1 paratrooper replicas are not so reliable. I'd rather use the newer version of the Mini-14 for reliability specially the ranch model.

That surprises me to hear a bit as I know a few people with them, both the para model and the full stocked model. They swear they are very accurate and reliable, but have never tried the 30 round mags. Which brings me to my original, not sure why I did not think of it before but I could look to see what they have lol. Duh...

I had an IBM WWII carbine, spent most of the time I had it trying to find WWII or Korean era ammo. Was good to see commercial ammo being made. I had a couple 30 rd mags. One of my kids has it now but I can get it back anytime I want. Yeah, right!!! Anyway had a chance to go to the range a couple days ago with my Kid and the Carbine but, it rained for 3 straight days. Hope to get out this coming weekend.

    That's good news!

In my younger years, I had a Plainfield carbine. Great gun! The Universals were junk, IMO.

About 15 years ago, I had a Rock-ola 'mixmaster,' but had to sell it. Times were tight.

I'd love to get another period carbine, even if another 'mixmaster'.
