My inner 9YO is running around going

    whoopee whoopee...

I mean really, what 9yo who grew up watching the Duke, Clint, Wagon Train, Have Gun will Travel, Wanted Dead or Alive, etc etc etc... did not want an 1873 SAA. Picked up a Traditions 1873 in .357 magnum this weekend.

    Nice.....

I like the allowing the kid-in-me to play every now and then.
But my budget usually runs out before the kid quits!

Nice Lee but I didn't realize they used copper jacketed bullets in them days or even had .357.

Looking forward to a range report though.

Always planned on 44/40 or 45 LC when I got one but, my doc tells me I can put off the worst of the arthritis and possibly surgery if I drop down in caliber, so... Hell when I was 9 I had no clue what caliber they were...

I don't have many lead bullets in .357 yet, just starting to get back into the .38/357 genre from .44 mag and .45 acp. Plus I always remember the old saying if they woulda had em they woulda used em...

Shooting .38 Special in your new .357 Traditions will be a lot more fun. All the fun without all the recoil and blast. Shoot! We're just pretending anyway. Now all ya need is one O those fast draw tie-down holsters!
