    When I was a kid, in the period right after WW2, you could buy genuine KaBars in the Army/Navy Surplus stores. That was when these stores actually sold army surplus instead of knock off junk. There were a few KaBars in my neighborhood but few of us realized what prizes they were and they are certainly long gone.

    Geez, never heard of it. Not into knives, I guess. I've got a Kershaw and couldn't even carry it to work at a government facility.
