You guys must've hired a better financial planner than me . My one and only .40 left with a customer at the last gun show. This leaves me with 9mm and .380 for serious trouble. If they don't leave a big enough hole, I'll have to put two through the same spot.
John_R: The 9 to 40 conversion is doable. I bought a 9mm slide/barrel/spring for my 40 S&W HC and I have been shooting the heck out of it. So it works either way with 9mm and 40 S&W. But it absolutely cannot be done with the UC45.
If you can steal their ammo, just steal their gun too. And drive off with them in their MRAP.
Exactly. But more ammo so you can take your time to rifle through those dead bodies to find the best weapons and ammo. Chance are you'll find more guns than ammo since so many (how to be politically correct her) protesters either can't afford ammo or have shot it all up.
Guess this may stir something up but the thought just hit me:
I see the 40 to 9 conversions works what about the 40 to 45 is that a option with just slides, springs and barrel or not doable at all

Yep, you just have to replace a few more parts, the frame, grips, magazine...well actually all the parts. So what I am actually saying is no, going from 40 to 45 in the Bersa doesn't work.

Reload- it's cheap and the government or suppliers who panic can not stop you from shooting. during this last crisis I never brought any ammo and have materials to make a thousand rounds in 9mm, 380 and 38Special. also have .45 dies to make trading ammo. don't have a 45 yet to shoot however accumulating a little range brass.
Whenever I get ready to head to the range instead of digging into reserves I press out a hundred or so rounds of whatever I'm planning on shooting that day.
