    Bersa Thunder 9 PRO

    Hello everybody

I just found your site and I'm so happy about it finally I will have answers about my Bersa Thunder 9 PRO.
I bought that gun in 2015 from Tactical Import did some researches about it and I must say that for the price that gun is underrated I shot about a 1000 rounds and no problems at all but !!!!!

I have a question about it the serials it start with the letter E can somebody tell me the year of production ????

The only thing I have against this gun is the grip I have shorts fingers and the trigger is more than half way to my first phalange and it's very frustrating
I try to compensate by turning my hand a little bit to the left and the result is all my impacts are to the left and down from the bullseye.

I have other guns like a Beretta F92s and I must say it's a world off difference in comfort for shooting, is there other smaller grips on the market that I can
put on this fantastic but frustrating gun ????

I'm working with a side arms for 31 years and for about 20 years I have a HK P2000 LEM 2 and I must say there's nothing comparing to this gun on the range and the grip is so comfortable I would like so much that my Bersa was as comfortable has my HK.

So guys all the info will be very appreciated.

    Regards
    Jacques

Give Eagle Imports a call. They can tell you an approximate manufacture date. You have a fine pistol. As for the grip length, I do not know of a solution to that issue. I assume it is the long DA pull you are talking about and all is well in SA mode, correct?

Welcome Jack-Par. As Tux said, no help on the grip, to my knowledge.

We are glad to have you. Feel free to brag about your 9. You'll find many members feel the same.
Beware... Bersas multiply like feral cats. May I suggest one in 45ACP?

Hey Rock. I read (mebbe here) that the fired case that the factory sends along with the gun has the mfg. date on the envelope. IMG_0220.jpeg

Welcome 2POW, Yes, that date will be within a day or so of manufacture date. That is the date it was fired, which may be a day or 2 after actual date of assembly.

I have an HC9 too. But the grip on the UC9 is different, it has finger grooves. I like the UC9 grip better.
