"Goldstein and the others weren’t harmed in the robbery, and they were later assured by police that the robbery wasn’t a targeted act, Murphy said."

Is he SERIOUS??? Of course they WERE targeted. They were rich looking white people with a lot of expensive equipment and cell phones in a park and more than likely the territory of the perps.

The police meant that they were not targeted because he was a Democrat or because he is running for AG. Of course, yes they were targeted because they were rich white people. They would only call it "targeted" if it was intentionally against a Democrat.

The bad guys of Illinois should be careful who they target. If the politicians finally realize their stupid gun laws won't save them, so get rid of them, the bad guys will not be the only ones carrying.

So far the Dums just modify the gun laws so they can have them but no one else can. That's the was it works in LA - only rich politicians can get concealed carry permits.

Lisa Madigan is the State's Attorney General and related to The Madigan who is the Speaker of the House. The two of them have caused more anti-gun problems than all the rest of the liberals in public office combined. Good riddance!!!!

Sounds good, but I don't see that happening anytime soon.

daughter and conflict of interest, it's just a nice little family business

IIRC Lisa was wound into a deal involving Blagojevich and the senate seat and it appears the jist of that deal is still pending? health care was on the table (Pritzker running point) Lisa was to get the senate seat and Pritzker treasurer?

looks to me like a branch of the swamp is thriving in chitown
