Just got back from voting- wow!....largest turnout I have ever seen. Been living here in the Fowl River community sw of Mobile since 1976, and I have never stood in line to vote until today. I am amazed.
Could this be the Red Tide?

I voted last week during the early voting as well. Red baby, all red.

No way I could get Sue out early and I had to go to Grand Rapids to work today. I picked her up at 6:45 tonight and we went to vote and then to dinner. The polls in Michigan close at 8 PM so we had plenty of time. We have about 2100 registered in our precinct and we were #936 & 937. At least 20-30 more came in before we left so we have an very high turn out for a mid term. Our area at the lake leans slightly Red.

I heard that our old precinct in Grand Rapids was experiencing low turn out by mid-afternoon. It is a very heavily Democrat area... probably 85-90% so low turnout is a good thing. But the calls were going out on the phone, text, social media, and even door to door to get out the vote... free rides, etc.

Glad to see that both DeSantis and Scott carried the day in FL. It would have been tough talking RC down from the roof.

Looks like Florida has a couple close calls? Hope they can hang on. I struggle to believe that many folks could still vote for Guillum.

We seemed to have lucked out here in Bama. Not so for some other states.

We were saved from that socialist by the hair on our chinny-chin-chin, DeSantis got it. He pulled a good one and brought Mrs. Nunez in for Lt. Governor on his ticket thus bringing in a lot of our Spanish community. The Senate is going to recount, too close to call. Governor Scott declared himself a winner over Nelson but the numbers are so close they require a state recount. I hope Scott holds his small lead. Again him speaking Spanish and the fantastic job he did with the hurricane refugees from Puerto Rico helped. Nelson was up 12 points in the polls.

Unfortunately, this gives the dems a chance to "find" some previously uncounted ballots in somebodies car like they did in Minnesota a few years back. Just enough to change the results. It's been a long time since we have seen a totally honest election. They fine tuned their vote manipulations in Cal and are now exporting it across the nation. I've seen two video stings showing voting irregularities in NJ and Tx. It will all get buried by the media. Yeah, Im quite cynical.

All things good in Tennessee. Bill Lee probably won't be as red a governor as we'd like him to be, but I believe he'll work with the state congress to keep what's right for the majority of folks. Bredesen would have been a disaster in the Senate. It would have opened a wide door for Dems to turn this state a blue shade of purple.

SC ended up staying red but it's getting closer every election. We have so many people moving here from blue states that the demographics are quickly changing. They move here because of our low taxes and then vote for democrats who want to increase taxes. That's a mental condition I can't understand. Charlotte which is just across the state line from us has gone completely blue. They just voted a 100% Democratic county commission.
Where are we going and why am I in this handbasket?

I hope we can hang on too, looks like we may now have three recounts - for Governor, Senator and Commissioner of Agriculture (Dept. of Ag. here issues FL CWLs).

BTW, I read that Scott beat Nelson by ONE vote in the Florida Keys... I guess every vote really does matter.

Joe Stalin was right.......It's not the people who vote that count, it's the people who count the votes.

Time for law enforcement to take control of the 2 counties voting apparatus. I understand that both have failed to comply with a court order to turn over the ballots, They have already had 4 plus days to find a lot of illegal (undocumented) ballots to dump into the system. This is going to be a long drawn out fight.

I agree it is a nightmare. We voted here in Michigan Tuesday night at our polling place but I just told Sue that we should jump a plane to Broward County and we can vote 10 or 20 more times.

First stop will be the Goodwill Store to buy a few "new" outfits so we fit in with the local crowds.
