    Thunder Pro XT holster

New to the forum & get this 1st Bersa this week. Some claim that this pistol fits Glock 17/17L holsters. Pistol specs are close to my Tristar P120, so perhaps may fit it. Other suggestions?

    Welcome riden ,

I have moved your post to the more appropriate Holster Chat.

I have a De Santas Glock 19 holster that will accommodate both my Bersa 9UC and 9HC just fine.

Welcome to Bersa Chat riden. I don't have the XT, but you might try Eagle Imports' web site to see what they may offer for it.

First, Welcome Aboard! I have gleaned a wealth of information here at BersaChat since I purchased my first Firestorm and joined the Forum in 2011.
Secondly, you asked about holsters at a good time since there are now a few more choices as the manufacturer's are finally catching up with the demand.
I recently purchased a Thunder 9 pro XT and quickly found that the holsters that fit my Thunder 9HC pro do not fit the same. The XT frame is not cut with a bottom mount rail and is wider than the 9HC so the plastic or Kydex Glock 17 holsters are probably not going to work. Depending on what kind of holster you are looking for, there are now a lot more choices than last year. Here are some I found with a Google search.

I ordered one of these in left hand (I'm right handed) because the price was better and according the their web sight, you can wear it out side the waistband.

"Protector Concealed Carry Holsters can be worn on the outside, simply order the opposite draw hand. So if you are right handed you can order a left hand holster for right hand OWB."

https://justholsterit.com/product-gu...nder-9-pro-xt/ They offer quite a few styles at fairly decent prices.

This one is the least expensive one I found and I can vouch for the quality since I have one for my Ruger Mark ll Target and it fits very well and is American Made by Ace Case. https://www.amazon.com/BERSA-THUNDER.../dp/B06W2JKTYB

If you are in to leather there are these https://www.craftholsters.com/bersa-...ro-xt-holsters and if you want functional EDC these look nice https://www.crossbreedholsters.com/h...under-9-pro-xt

Hope this helps and I will post a review on my holster when it arrives next week.

As promised, here is my review of the Just Holster It Kydex protector holster I ordered from Etsy. Only took 4 days to arrive and it is much nicer than I expected. My biggest concern was the belt clip as it is made for IWB but can be worn OWB according to the website. No worries, the clip is not only sturdy, it is also adjustable for cant and fits on my double thick belt just fine. It also is designed with an upwards angle so it does not move or come off your belt when drawing your weapon. It is also mounted with rubber spacers so you can adjust it easily and the holster rides very close in, not like the Fobus Paddle which hangs out like a rear-view mirror.
As to fit, the pistol slides in and clicks into place perfectly. You can adjust the tension with two screws ahead of the trigger guard which are also mounted with rubber grommets for flexibility. The sight channel is very generous and allows for a quick draw with zero hangups. A couple of things to note, the instructions say to give the inside a light coat of gun oil to reduce friction against the frame which can cause wear. I should have read that before testing the fit as the frame on the XT is rather sharp on the front end and shaved off a tiny bit of material from inside the holster. Also, it leaves a very small mark on the sides of the trigger guard where it snaps into the holster, something I think is unavoidable, but they seem to wipe right off. One other thing, the holster is made to fit with the safety lever down, not a concern given the three additional safeties in place, but it will work with the safety up, it just doesn't slide in the last 1/4" or so but it still locks in place. Here are some pics-

Over all I would rate this holster with a strong 5 stars. I also saved a few $$$ by ordering it from Etsy as it was $39 delivered instead of the $56 JHI charges.

I am sure I will be doing more business with them as the need arises.

Holster looks like may work with the BladeTec TekLok attachment.
