    Hello From Jacksonville, FL

    Hey guys,

I bought a BP9CC a few months back and have 400+ rounds through it. I am a novice shooter and have only been going to the range on a regular basis for the last few months. It has been challenging (and fun!) to shoot such a small gun. My other firearms include a Gen 4 Glock 17 9MM, Ruger Mark 1 pistol and a Ruger 10/22. I enjoy shooting all of them when I get the chance.

I do have a nagging issue with the BP9CC that I hope to rectify with advice from this forum. I have my CWP and have been carrying the Bersa for the last few weeks. However, out of the 400 rounds I have put through it, I've had 3 light strikes resulting in failure to fire. Those failures are always in the back of my mind.

I found the trigger mod thread in this forum and took apart striker assembly. I noticed no metal shavings but I did see where the inside of the striker tube had been scored by the c-clip. I filed down the c-clip, cleaned, greased the assembly and threw it back together. Should I replace the striker as well since it is scored on the inside? I don't have the ability to refinish the inside of the tube. Thanks,

    Brian
