    thank you!

    Just wanted to stop in a say thank you to those who served before me and to those who are serving now with me. Just resigned for another 4 taking me over the hill to 14.

        Yes I'm in the Air Force but so many people refer to us Airmen as Soldiers you just kinda roll with it.

              Congrats Jason and thank you for serving our Country.
              My father served with the 8th USAAF in Europe in 1945. He flew C-47's.

                  Thank you for your service Jason and all those who have and are now serving. I served 4 years as a policeman (then Air Police, now Security Forces) at Minot AFB, ND with the 862nd Combat Defense Squadron, Strategic Air Command. I was from Florida and froze my tail off.

                    Okay, I've picked on the Air Force and Army, so what about the dedication that sailors have to show for their country, especially when they cross the equator for the first time to earn their Shellback card from King Neptune? Here's what happened on my old ship, the Ranger, when thousands of officer and enlisted "pollywogs" got initiated during the Crossing The Line ceremony.

                      I always wondered why everyone always made all those Navy jokes.....

                      7.5 years here, Army aviation and transitioned to medical field. Been out just over 2 years now. Moved on to another group of brothers, and traded the green for the blue (but not AF blue)

                        I too thanks everyone! Mom and one brother did Air force. Have a brother currently Army career. Dad was Army during WWII. Aunt served Navy reserves. I think the only one in my family who has not tried it has been me.

                          Congratulation on the re-up. I've never regretted making it a career. Started off in the security police, and we were Soldiers first, then Airmem
