for some reason a post i made to http://www.bersachat.com/forums/show...544#post402544 doesn't appear on the New Posts list and it's doing it again. i have a feeling it has something to do with the 'time out' issue in the next topic down the list

          Vito,
First off. Are you using a computer or a mobile device?
I use the safari browser and tapatalk on an iPhone regularly. On my mac, I use multiple browsers. I have not seen the issues you describe.

You last line of the last post indicates a lag of sorts and the keystrokes are not coming through/passed on to whatever program you are using to view BersaChat. Check your background processes first. Something could be tieing up your cpu cycles. On a Mac you would check system processes in Applications-Utilities-Activity Monitor. Should you be running Windows...Others may be able to help in resolving that. I haven't run that OS since 1995.

Re: typing out post text gets extremely glichy

Sorry Vito, I'm out. But for the benefit of others, how old school are we talking? Windows XP? Windows 7,8,10? Which browser are you using? Does it happen with another program? Another web browser (Firefox, Chrome, IE) ?
I know Windows 10 has a keylogger that has caused issues with some folks. (It is supposed to help you type better.)
How about you list some specs so someone can better help you.

A big problem for a lot of people on laptops is touching the onboard touchpad while typing. Solution, download free Touchpad Blocker, http://touchpad-blocker.com/ then set the timing on it to solve you troubles, woks great.

And specifically what computer and model, and which OS. It can be solved...

What browser Vito. I had similar problems using the basic editor on a win7 box using Firefox with Noscript blocking scripts on Berschat.

i just had a total melt down, did a complete factory setting reset. i decided to load firefox and i'm knocking this out as fast as i can so far no BS, even going back and editing jumping around and everything's keeping up. no glitch. was IE exploder, i guess it must've been bad to go ahead & tank it but right now at the moment i can't really remember ... but i know it was bad. still clicking the crap out of the keyboard & rockin right along
